川越 / Kawagoe

別の日私は川越と呼ばれる場所を聞いた。その場所は日本のさいたまである。私の友人は川越は小京都のように述べた。私は京都にもされていないね。だから私は非常に川越に好奇心である。幸運で
、私の友人はロンドンから日本に戻って、私達はそこに冒険にして決めました。川越の菓子屋横丁が有名で、伝統的な駄菓子を販売している。キャンディーの古いスタイルは私たちの子供時代を思い出させました。

Another day I heard about a place called Kawagoe , a city located in Saitama perfecture in Japan. My friend said Kowagoe looks like a small Kyoto. I haven’t been to Kyoto though! So I am very curious about Kawagoe.
 By luck, my friend moved back to Japan from London, so we finally decide to made an adventure there. Kawagoe is famous for its candy street! That is very interesting street selling traditional candy. The old style of candies remind me and my friends a bit of our childhood.

The traditional custom of eating Unagi (eel) on 'Doyo-no-ushi-no-hi' (the Day of the Ox, during the hottest period of summer) is still said to be an effective way of avoiding heat exhaustion. One of the most popular unagi dishes is unaju, which consists of kabayaki (charocal-broiled eels) on top of rice in a lacquer box, with soy sauce-based sauce.

東京はリサイクルを推進している。わたしは日本に住んだ後で、リサイクルの大切さに気づいてきた。

Nowadays, the world is a mix of various forms of social structure. There are diverse cultures, even the concept of reuse, there is a difference between various countries.

Tokyo is demanding in recycling. After I lived in Japan, I have noticed the importance of recycling.

楽しいしうれしい / Happy fun

今日友達はわたしに日本の料理を教えてくれました。一緒に日本の料理を作って、うれしかったです。美味しいし楽しい。彼女はわたしにいろいろな日本語の言葉も教えてくれました。ありがとうございます。

Today my friend taught to cook Japanese dishes. It was very happy to cook Japanese food together. That was delicious and enjoyable. Also she taught many Japanese vocabularies. Thank you very much.

香港料理/ Hong Kong Food

今日は友達と香港香港料理で夕食に行った。そこの料理は香港料理の味が全然違った。しかし、私はさまざまな国籍の友達と一緒に素敵なお食事をした。

Today I went to dinner with friends at a Kong Kong Restaurant. Those dishes didn't taste like Hong Kong food at all. However I had a wonderful dining with my friends with different nationalities.

今日は市役所の係員は私が連絡して、私は市役所へ行きました。 今私は「中国人」になって、よかったです！

The staff from the city office has contacted me today, so I go to the city office. I'm glad that I become " the Chinese" now.

イギリス人でしょうか / Why British?

今朝台風で外を出ないでずっとうちで日本語を勉強しました。

午後、不動産屋に行って、アパートを探しました。不動産屋の社員は外国人に好意的なので、何の問題もなくて、新しいアパートをすぐ決まりました。

すごいナイスアパートを見つけてとてもうれしいです。それでスーパで食べ物を買って、家へ帰りました。

びっくりしたことにドアの前でレオン様が知らない女の方と話していました。彼女は市役所で働いています。

彼女は私の国籍を確認するために私達の家まできました。実は中国人のパスポルトは赤いけど私のは青いですから、彼女は私がイギリス人だと思ていましたので、外国人証明書の国籍はイギリスです。

I stayed home and studied Japanese this morning because of the typhoon.

I went to real estate agents this afternoon to look for an apartment. A friendly staff from the real estate agent welcomes foreigners without any questions. Therefore, we has decided on a new apartment quickly. I am very happy to find a nice cool apartment.

I have been to supermarkets shopping for food before home.

Surprisingly, there was a lady chatting with Leon in front of my home. She worked for the City Office and she came to our house to verify my identity. Since my passport color is in blue, but not red as the Chinese one, she thought that I was British. So they offered me a foreign nationality certificate with the British nationality.

今私は香港国際空港にいます。たった今家族とさようならを言いました。便は遅れていますから、今一人で飛行機を待っています。さびしいと思いますよ。遅れておりまして、１時半出発の予定です。そして、到達時間はラッシュアワーです！！！大変だと思います。

I'm at the Hong Kong International Airport now. I've just said Goodbye to my family. The flight has been delayed, so that I am waiting for the flight. It's lonely indeed. The delayed flight has scheduled to depart at 1:30am. Therefore, the arrival time will be at the rush hour! ! ! It's not nice at all.
